Pioneers is a Christ-centered program through Salem Lutheran Church and School.  Through participation in various activities, Pioneers learn skills such as:  leadership and citizenship, camping, safety, independent living skills, as well as arts and crafts and games.  Pioneers meet on Monday evenings in the school from 6:30 -8:00 PM a couple of times a month.  Each meeting begins with a devotion and prayer from one of our Pastors.  Pioneers then say the Pledge of allegiance, and after any announcements are done, go to their designated rooms by grades.  In addition to these regular meetings, there are also special opportunities to learn and have fun, including:  Archery Camp, Halloween Hayride, Winter Campout & Klondike Derby, Roller Skating, Tobogganing, Pine Car Derby, and a Swimming Party.
